10 colors, using DMC thread. Using black aida is highly recommended for this pattern. If you do not use black aida, you will have to fill in the obelisk, the lower part of the the background, the top part of the sun, the floor and the shadows of the letters using black thread (DMC310).

It is also highly recommended to use the actual colors listed in this document, as the reds and the greys can look similar.

Using black aida is highly recommended.

Use 2 strands of thread for cross stitch and use 3 strands for pale colors
