7 colors, using DMC thread, but any equivalent colors of thread should work just fine.

Using black aida is highly recommended.

Use 2 strands of thread for cross stitch and use 3 strands for better coverage. Using black aida is highly recommended. If not using black aida, use black floss (DMC310) to fill in the phone and the floor.
